Adding Your Feedburner Feed First, go to Feedburner.com and login using your Gmail email address and password.
After you have logged into your Feedburner account, enter your blog’s URL into the corresponding field and click “Next.”
Now, copy the URL that Feedburner provides.
Next, go back and login to the admin panel of your WordPress blog. On the left hand side of the screen, click on the drop down arrow to the right of the “Appearance” button, to display more options.
Click on the “Control Panel” link. Under the “General” tab, scroll down and paste your Feedburner URL in the “Feedburner RSS Feeds” field.
The last step is to click on the “Save Changes” button.

Optimizing Your Permalinks
On the left hand side of the screen, click on the drop down arrow to the right of the “Settings” button, to display more options.
Click on the “Permalinks” link. Select the radio button to the left of “Custom Structure” and type “/%postname%/” into the field to the right.

Adding/Deleting Users
Once you are in the WordPress dashboard, make your way over to the left hand side of the screen and click on the “Users” link.
To add a new user, click on the “Add New” link.
After filling out all of the necessary information, make sure you click the “Add User” button towards the bottom of the screen.
To delete a user, simply select the box to the left of the user’s name, and then select “Delete” from the drop-down above.
A Blogroll is defined as a list of links to websites or other blogs that the author recommends to his/her readers. It is usually found in the sidebar.

Managing Your Blogroll
Once you are in the WordPress Dashboard, make your way over to the left hand side of the screen and click on the “Links” link.
To add a new link, click on the “Add New” link and then fill out all the necessary information.
To remove a link from your Blogroll, select the check box to the left of the link you would like to delete, then click the arrow to the right of the “Bulk Actions” link and click on the “Delete” link.
One of the first things you will want to do to your new blog is customize the title and tagline.

Installing a New WordPress Theme
Once you are in the WordPress Dashboard, make your way over to the left hand side of the screen and click on the “Appearance” link.
Then, click on the “Add New Themes” link.
Next, click on the “Upload” link near the top of the screen.
Now, click the “Browse” button to select the theme’s .Zip file from your computer.
Once you have selected the .Zip file, click on the “Install Now” button.
After a successful installation, make sure you click on the “Activate” link.
