Creating a New Post

1. First, login to the WordPress Dashboard and on the left hand side, click on the drop down arrown to the right of the “Posts” link. You should see several selections display. Click on the “Add New” link.
   
   
   
   
   
   




2. Now, create a title for the post
   
   
   
   
   
   Then just type all of your post’s content
   
   
   




3. The next step is to upload and insert an image into your post. Start by making sure your image is saved somewhere on your computer. Then, click on the upload button (highlighted in orange below).
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   Then, click on the “Select Files” button (highlighted in orange below) and select the image from your computer.
   
   
   
   
   
   Once you have selected your image file, then click on the “Insert into Post” button (highlighted in orange below).
   
   
   
   
   

4. Now you can publish your new blog post by clicking on the “Publish” button in the upper right of the screen.
