Adding Widgets

1. The last step in setting up the blog is adding widgets. The magazine layout for the blog uses an entirely widgetized home page. Therefore adding widgets is crucial to have the blog look correct. To do this step, you must have already completed step one through four of the “Setting Up a Blog” tutorials. If you have not completed these steps already, click HERE to go back and complete them. The first thing you need to do now, is click on the drop down arrow on the “Appearance” button on the left column of the WordPress dashboard. 2. Now click on the “Widgets” link
   
   
   




3. Once you are on the “Widgets” page, you can choose which widgets you would like to display and where. When you decide which one you want, simply click, hold, and drag that widget to the right either to the “homepage,” “Sidebar,” or “Footer” area.
